Pam originally studied Visual Art (majoring in Lithography) at COFA. Her subsequent studies (over a period of 10 years) were in secondary education and teaching English as a foreign/second language. Pam has a Masters in Language in Education, worked as a TESOL teacher for 2 years and has spent the past 14 years in the tertiary sector.

In 1998, Pam joined the staff of The Learning Centre as a Senior Learning Adviser. Her work here focuses on preparation programs for International Postgraduate students and working with staff and students from the faculty of Engineering and the faculty of Science.

On a personal note, Pam is happily married with 2 teenagers and an assortment of small non-native pets.
